On the morning of October 26, 2019, the province's first industrial biotechnology industry transformation platform was established in Jining. The platform is jointly built by Tianjin Institute of Industrial Biotechnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Jining Municipal Government and Lu Kanga Medicine. It will focus on promoting the research and development of biotechnology products such as biosynthesis instead of chemical synthesis and plant-derived innovative drugs through the construction of four experimental platforms: biotechnology, microbial fermentation and refining, chemical synthesis, enzyme preparation and probiotics.
